Laine + Zach | Many Glacier Hotel | Glacier National Park Elopement

Laine and Zach chose to elope in Glacier National Park, just the two of them and their friend from Montana officiating. We were so lucky to join these two, and show them one of our favorite parts of the park, Many Glacier Hotel! This was in May, before the hotel was even open, so besides the nearby wildlife, it was just us for miles. Can't imagine a more perfect place to say your vows!! Since these two cuties were coming from out of state, I, Rachel, made Laine's bouquet, and did her hair and makeup. Her stunning dress from BHLND looked amazing in the wind on top of the plateau we found for their ceremony over looking Swift Current Lake. Laine and Zach have since added a beautiful baby girl to their family, and we couldn't be happier for them! Weddings are always special, but elopements like this tug at my heart strings. We ended the evening with the two of them sharing a First Dance on the shores of the lake...and yes, I cried.

Springtime Love | Flathead Lake, Montana

Some shoots will just stay with you for a lifetime, and this was one of them. We photographed this amazing styled shoot on the day my Nana lost a hard battle to cancer, so when I look at these images, I get an over whelming sense of peace and a tinge of pain. Not to be cheesy, but I believe we had the prettiest Spring day you could ask for in Montana; a small miracle. The sun shone bright through the clouds and lit up the Swan range, just as we were hoping for, and we basked in its glory. For a short part of the year there's a sandy beach on Flathead Lake, and like the blooms we used, we took inspiration in their fleeting beauty.

Natalie and Kyle just might be the sweetest two people we've ever met. From the very first time we met them we fell completely in love with them and looked forward to their wedding for a year! These two have a love story fit for the movies...seriously, someone make a movie about them! Together they're chasing their dreams in Nashville and I think I have listened to their albums 100 times since meeting them! Check it out here!
