We had so much fun with Alex and Sampson, witnessing the beautiful connection they share. Weatherwood in Columbia Falls is still one of our all-time favorite places to photograph, as the setting and light make for amazing images.

Part one of five from the Loom Sessions at Bloomsbury Farms, in Nashville, Tennessee. It was the first time I'd photographed in a workshop like setting, and so I opted to keep things as simple on my end as possible, putting the focus more on watching the direction, and story that Ginny Au had put together. For this portion, I used my Pentax 6x7, with Kodak 160 film. It was wonderfully challenging to limit myself to 10 shots a roll, as a sequence unfolded, and I loved the way it turned out.
