Fun Winter Engagement in Montana

We had so much fun playing in the snow with these two amazing people. Can't wait for the wedding coming up this summer! Thank you both so much for letting us capture your love!

Sydney and Scott : Sweet Backyard Wedding

I love nothing more than being at home, where it's familiar, cozy, and always there. That's why homes make the best place to say "I do", and Sydney and Scott's backyard wedding is proof of that. I've known the lovely Sydney since we were in 7th grade, and in fact, my own home is just around the corner from hers! I loved the simplicity and sweetness of their day, down to the bon-fire and s'mores! Sydney's friend, Leah made sure this wedding went perfectly, and it did, Thank you Leah!!  Also huge thank you to our film lab, PhotoVision Prints....you make us look goood!

Thank you Sydney and Scott for having us! It was such a pleasure to be with you on your gorgeous day!

Silas Newborn session

We don't normally photograph a lot of newborns, but when my friend Jon and his wife Jenni had there first baby, we wanted to create some beautiful images for them. Silas was 3 and a half weeks early, and at the time of these images was only about 4lbs 10oz.

We photographed this entire session in the couples bedroom, on a Hasselblad 500c, on 4 rolls of film, using Portra 800 for color and Ilford 3200 for the black and white. Photovision prints in Salem, Oregon did the amazing processing and scanning. The entire session was super simple and laid back.

Jon was the best man at my wedding, and I was best man at his, so its a privilege to be able to capture this part of their life

The Ray Family

Brian, Crystal, Izzi, Soloman and Bethane just might be the most photogenic and sweetest family I've ever met. There's so much talent pouring out of them that I can't even find the words to describe it! I was SO HONORED that they wanted Jeremiah and I to take their Christmas card pictures. We wanted winter wonderland, and I'm pretty sure we found it! Thank you Ray Family for being amazing...and having an amazing blue vintage truck. If it ever goes missing don't look in my garage...

Also HUGE thanks to Cara at Goldfinch Events & Design for styling this wonderfulness. You can see more in 406 Woman Magazine!
