Winter has officially settled in here in Montana, and I have mixed feelings about it! I’m already missing my garden, but I always love the cozy feeling that comes with the first snow fall!! Kate and Mike wanted to do something a little different for their engagement session, and do something that they love doing together, baking! We jumped at the chance to go to the cutest cabin with them and get cozy!
Meg and Charles had a weekend full of amazing events leading up to their grand finale wedding. Their rehearsal dinner, crafted by Greenwood Events was held at Meg's summer home at Iron Horse Gulf Club. Darci and Arden of Greenwood grew most of the flowers themselves for this rich and colorful event, with shades of burgundy, gold, copper, peach and mauve. Draping the clear top tent with shear gray fabric gave the evening a warm and intimate feeling as the sun set. Guests were given a ride on a trolly, greeted with champagne and moscow mules, and entertained by Mike Murray Duo (our favorite guys!) After a fun time of mingling and hugs, an Italian dinner was served. Then toasts for the loving couple rounded out the night. Tears were shed and laughter issued as everyone came together to celebrate the sweet couple and their wonderful families! We love being able to capture these moments and getting to know the guests more the day before weddings! Makes the wedding day feel even more special for us!

This past September, we had the privilege of joining the two sweetest people, Macey and Morgan on their wedding day at Spain Ranch in Tulsa, Oklahoma! I feel like saying "ya'll" cause we were in the south, so here goes: Ya'll, this wedding was a stunner!! It fed my girly pink soul and love for Cinderella princess shoes. Macey is actually a beauty blogger, Beyond the Blonde, so we knew this day was going to be gorgeous! We joined the bridal party at the gorgeous Southern Hills Country Club for getting ready and Macey and Morgan's First Look. If every venue could have a bridal suite as stunning as this place, I'd be set for life!! *taking notes for future venue building dreams* Macey and Morgan told us their bridal was big because they were like family to them. And boy was it big! Biggest bridal party we've ever photographed, and I loved it! Helps that they were all such troopers and the nicest group of people ever. The ceremony and reception were held at Spain Ranch...the dreamiest place ever. The owners are so nice and did everything they could to make sure this day went off without a hitch! Macey and her mom designed and planned the whole wedding themselves, and I'm so impressed! We were treated to good ol' southern comfort food, fried chicken and mac-n-cheese and just thinking about it now makes me hungry!! These two ended the night with live music and a sparkler exit, and I felt like we had made friends for life. Congratulations, Macey and Morgan! #morganpickedflowers

There’s something truly romantic and inspiring about being at the coast, and Cuffey’s Cove Ranch in Elk, California was the perfect blend of countryside and rugged that we wanted as the backdrop for this inspirational elopement shoot. We imagined our sweet couple waking up in the beautiful and historic Kenney House with the gorgeous California light streaming through the windows; and then sharing vows on the cliffs bordering the Pacific Ocean.
A cozy and welcoming environment was created in the dinning room, taking our cures from the ranch, house, and coast. The beautiful tabletop added the perfect amount of elegant, minimal and textural touches. Along with crafted cocktails and lush but simple floral arrangements, the room was glowing with romance.
Our beautiful couple Kevin and Priscilla are the sweetest people, and were absolutely perfect for the feel we imagined – and the genuine sweet romance we wanted to show. Priscilla looked like a goddess with her gown blowing in the wind, her sleek, low hairstyle, and her stunning bouquet. It was not hard to be inspired in such a beautiful setting. The sun was warm on our skin and the breeze carried the delicious salty air through our hair. Days like that makes us want to get married all over again, and remind us truly how wonderful love and life can be. At the end of the shoot, we all took a moment to sit together and toast to what had been a truly beautiful day!
